Service: Business Advisory

L+R provides business and project solutions to government agencies and private sector clients across Australia. We offer integrated strategic, commercial and technical capabilities as well as expert advice in relation to the planning, evaluation, and development. We also offer delivery of capital investment programs and major projects. Our team has a significant track record in supporting regional councils in their effort to plan and develop their strategic capital investment programs. We also assist our clients to secure government grants to fund vital infrastructure projects.

Our business and commercial advisory capabilities include the development of project strategy as well as undertaking the business case development process, including comprehensive financial and economic analysis, for major projects under alternative delivery and funding options. As a part of the business case development and the preparation of grant applications, we provide expert advice and input to the selection of an effective project delivery model together with viable funding and commercial arrangements. This is in addition to risk analysis and risk management strategies, project organisation and capabilities, governance and assurance, and procurement and contracting advice.

The group’s specialist airport and aviation consultancy business, Airport Consulting Practice, has assisted with a number of recent projects for local government airport owners and operators. These include developing an overall business case for the development of Moruya Airport for Eurobodalla Shire Council and assistance to Wagga Wagga City Council with an expression of interest for grant funding in relation to taxiway upgrades and terminal expansion at Wagga Wagga Airport.

We have previously provided business plans for Toowoomba Aerodrome, and grant funding application assistance to Bathurst Regional Council for airport infrastructure. Other projects where we are currently involved in providing business and commercial advisory expertise to airport owners include an airport master plan and asset management plan for Onslow Airport, for the Shire of Ashburton in Western Australia; and assistance with the process of leasing and operational management of Merimbula Airport for Bega Valley Shire Council.

Accessibility

Our Commitment To Accessibility

A number of accessibility features have been implemented across our website to make the website more accessible to people with visual, motor or cognitive disabilities. Below are some enhancements to our website that we consider beneficial to our users:

Links

  • All links are text-based. If an image is used for any link, techniques are used to keep the text within the code so they are still text-friendly for screen readers, text-based browsers and for those who browser with styles off (this included consoles that cannot render cascading style sheets).
  • All link rollovers are high-contrast so they are easily distinguished from regular text and headlines that are not clickable.
  • Link content text is contextual when possible (eg. Instead of ‘more’, the link may read ‘more recent news’) to make navigation easier for screen readers.
