Under the Defence Material Organisation’s (DMO) Project LAND116 multiple Units at Enoggera’s Gallipoli Barracks received the new Bushmaster Infantry Mobility Vehicle (IMV). This new capability saw the need for additional facilities to be constructed and Lambert & Rehbein was awarded the Design Consultancy Role to Project Manage the Design Phase and provide site inspection services to ensure adherence to the design. The design was completed 3 weeks ahead of schedule.
The major portions of the work included:
- Design and construction of a new Bushmaster covered parking facility with 9 Bushmaster parking bays;
- Workshop and Office facilities in the Bushmaster parking facility; and
- Refurbishment of two battery charging facilities.
- Design and Construction of a new battery charging and storing facility.
