Gold Coast - Springbrook Road Duplication Road Corridor Development Planning

Lambert & Rehbein (L&R) was commissioned by the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) to undertake a final review of the Road Corridor Development Planning (RCDP) layout for the duplication of Gold Coast – Springbrook Road between Bell Place & Somerset Drive, Mudgeeraba.

The purpose of this Road Corridor Development Planning Review is to:

• Verify the design standards and parameters;
• Update the design layouts to conform with the current standards
• Confirm GCCC future development of Firth Park;
• Confirm Public Utility Service Authorities future requirements;
• Verify the State Road reserve corridor land requirements;
• Confirm purchase of land from GCCC for the ultimate layout; and
• Create an appropriate design that establishes the future road reserve boundaries for future
