Directors

Brendan Rehbein

Chairman

BE(Civil), MIEAust

Brendan is responsible for the strategic direction and management of the Board of Directors and sets our strategic goals each year. He also plays a very active role within our development and major client markets bringing a wealth of commercial experience and understanding to these clients.

Brendan has more than 25 years’ experience in the construction and consulting engineering field with most of these being at a Director level. He has served on the Civil and Local Government Sub Committee of the Association of Consulting Engineers Australia (Consult Australia) in past years. Brendan has extensive experience in the procurement of finance for private projects. He provides a unique blend of skills in design, construction, finance and project exit strategies.

Ashley Ruffin

Managing Director & National Manager - Structural

BE(Civil), MIEAust, RPEQ

Ashley has considerable experience in the provision of professional engineering services relating to structural engineering, structural assessments, dilapidation investigations, reporting, and heritage listed and significant projects. His experience also extends to the design and documentation of bridges, culverts, retaining walls, earthworks and shoring design. His expertise in structural engineering utilising unique and innovative construction techniques is highly regarded in the industry, as is his knowledge of building code requirements, construction feasibility requirements and cost benefit analyses.

Ashley is the Managing Director and has responsibility for the company’s performance both locally and nationally. Ashley relies on his significant experience in the industry to provide direction to the business.

Steve Williams

Director - Transport and Infrastructure

BE(Civil), FIEAust, RPEQ

Steve has more than 20 years’ experience in strategic traffic and transport planning, traffic and transport modelling, traffic engineering analysis, traffic/travel demand management and project management, survey planning and management.

His current responsibilities include the management of the Traffic and Transport and Infrastructure divisions of Lambert & Rehbein and the participation in and management of projects related to the traffic and transport and transport infrastructure discipline. Steve has been involved in projects ranging from the provision of miscellaneous traffic engineering advice to day-to-day project management of major projects as well as expert witness services. Steve has recently completed a 4 year tenure as our CEO.

Brent Woolgar

Director - Project Management

MBA, BE(Hons), MIEAust, CPEng, RPEQ, MAIPM

Brent has over 25 years’ experience in the project direction and project management of a wide variety of projects spanning the aviation, defence, construction, transport and management systems sectors. Since 1999, Brent has guided Lambert & Rehbein’s Project Management division towards a reputation as a leading provider of professional project management services to all industry sectors while also undertaking a number of internal senior management positions.
